DWP has issued the Framework Specification for the provision of employment related support services  

The Coalition Government has set out a number of major welfare to work reforms, including a core integrated welfare to work programme and a number of measures designed to support people to find employment. These measures are designed to help in the Government's key aims of fighting poverty; supporting the most vulnerable and helping ppeople break the cycle of benefit dependancy. The Work Programme is the first of a number of national programmes.

The Invitation to Tender for this Framework was issued on Monday 23rd August 2010 and the following documents have been published for information:

13 September 2010 - Final date for submission of Q & A

20 September 2010 - Final issue of Q & A log

27 September 2010 - Closing date for Framework competition

30 November 2010 - Successful suppliers notified

December 2010 - Work Programme ITT issued
