Conference - National Community Activists

University of Central Lancashire
23 February 2012
10AM

With all the talk of the Banking Crisis, Public Services being cut, Public Protests and a feeling we are going back to the dark old days of the 70’s, it gets confusing to know who to believe. This conference may be the place to listen, think and consider how views, research and considered opinion makes up a bigger picture.

The conference will be supported by the folloing speakers:

  • Margaret Leadwith, Author of Community Development -” A Critical Approach”
  • Tim Gee, Author of Counterpower
  • David Malone, Author of The Debt Generation
  • Andy Benson, Founder of The Coalition For Independent Action

The day is free but places are limited so you will need to book a place to avoid disappointment. There are 3 ways to book:

  • If you are a member of NatCAN, go to the events page and follow the one- screen directions
  • If you have not yet signed up go to: http://bit.ly/v2UZHF
  • If you like the old fashioned way, pick up the phone and dial: 01772 892400 or 01942 700060 to book direct.
